We carry Tender Leaf because they build little worlds with a conscience: designed in England under award-winning toy designer Danielle Hanson, handcrafted by an ethical family-run workshop in Indonesia from reclaimed rubberwood, and finished in toxic-free, water-based paints. For every toy sold, they plant a tree. A world in every box, and a tree in the ground behind it.

Materials & construction

Solid wood folk colored with a soft, water-based stain that lets the grain show through, housed in a sturdy open hotel frame. Each figure sits easily on any flat surface. Handcrafted by an ethical, family-run workshop in Indonesia, and a tree is planted for every toy sold.

Care & storage

Wipe clean with a damp cloth and dry; no soaking and no dishwasher. The hotel doubles as the storage, so the folk always have somewhere to sleep.
