The grandest address in the shop: an open-fronted mansion over four feet tall, scaled for 10 inch dolls, with a gabled attic, opening shutters, a second-floor balcony, and furniture included throughout.

Windows at the back let the light flood in, and the open front means two or three children can play the house at once, which is how the best houses are run.

We carry Tender Leaf because they build little worlds with a conscience: designed in England under award-winning toy designer Danielle Hanson, handcrafted by an ethical family-run workshop in Indonesia from reclaimed rubberwood, and finished in toxic-free, water-based paints. For every toy sold, they plant a tree. A world in every box, and a tree in the ground behind it.

Materials & construction

Built from premium plywood with rubberwood details, painted in Tender Leaf's soft contemporary palette with detailed illustrations throughout, and finished in toxic-free, water-based paints. Self-assembly is required, and the reward is a house that stands over four feet tall and solid. Handcrafted by an ethical, family-run workshop in Indonesia, and a tree is planted for every toy sold.

Care & storage

Dust with a dry or barely damp cloth; no soaking and no harsh cleaners. Placed out of direct sun, the painted illustrations keep their soft color for the next child down the line.
