Heirloom workshops from Europe, family studios from Australia and the U.S., and small makers we found ourselves. Every brand vetted for safety, materials, and a finish that survives a sibling.
Hand-carved in Romania, by the makers at Bumbu Toys.
Each piece in the Bumbu line is shaped from maple and basswood, with beech and oak for heavier landscape elements. All timber is FSC-certified, harvested from responsibly managed European forests.
Pieces are hand-painted in small batches with water-based, non-toxic stains, then finished with organic oils and beeswax. Safe for the toddler who mouths the horse, durable for the older sibling who builds it into a story.

My Toy Wagon began with a simple inspiration: our two daughters, Hafsa and Noor. They are the heartbeat of the shop, the reminders that childhood is fleeting, and that the toys we choose for it matter.
We carefully curate wooden and felt toys that hold up to real play, that scale across ages, and that pass quietly to a younger sibling. Most orders are packed and shipped by hand from our shop in Los Angeles.
