Materials & construction

Each Fairyshadow leaf ornament is embroidered and finished by hand in a small studio in Bodega, California, in limited batches. The leaf is thick 3mm wool felt with a little pocket, and the removable yellow caterpillar is cotton knit velour, 80% cotton and 20% polyester, over wood, with a face drawn by hand in permanent, non-toxic ink. Choose a peach or tan skin tone.

Because everything is handmade, small details vary a little from one to the next.

Small parts. Intended for ages 3 and up, and young children should be supervised during play.

Care & storage

Spot clean only with a barely damp cloth, and let it air dry fully. Do not machine wash, soak, or submerge. Keep it out of direct sun, and store somewhere dry. Small parts, not for children under 3.

Fairyshadow Fairyshadow is a tiny studio on the coast of Northern California, in Bodega, making Waldorf-inspired dolls, ornaments, and critter necklaces by hand.
