The hero piece of the Enchanted Garden collection: cup and pourer in one, made for the rhythm children fall into on their own, filling and pouring, holding and releasing, gathering and sharing.

It gathers rainwater, fills fairy gardens, carries treasures back from the stream, and mixes botanical infusions. Each flower detail is shaped by a single artisan, one cup at a time, which makes this a limited piece within the collection.

Why it lasts.

We carry Wild Mountain Child because these are real tools, not toy-shaped props: hand-carved, hand-sanded, and hand-polished from Doussie plantation timber by Vietnamese artisans in a traditional craft village, finished in food-grade oil, and designed in Australia by a mother who watched her own child's sensory play and built the tools it was missing. No two are the same, and that is the point.

Who it's for

For the parent
The pouring practice piece that outlives the phase: mud kitchen now, water carafe on the family table later.
For the educator
Coordination, control, and volume concepts in one vessel: the transfer-work upgrade for outdoor sensory stations.
For the gift-giver
A limited, hand-carved piece with flower detail shaped by a single artisan: the special-occasion gift of the range.

Ways to play.

Gather rainwater, pour potions between vessels, fill the fairy garden, and carry stream treasures home. It pairs with the Leaf Cup in a natural yin-and-yang: one for holding, one for pouring. Beyond play, it serves water and holds garden cuttings at the family table.

Details

Materials & construction

Hand-carved, hand-sanded, and hand-polished from Doussie, a Vietnamese plantation timber from responsibly managed sources, then finished with food-grade oil. Each flower detail is individually shaped by a single artisan. Free of harmful chemicals, paints, and toxins, with a smooth, splinter-free finish. Grain and carving vary piece to piece; that variation is the handwork showing, not a defect.

Care & storage

Play in water is fine; just don't leave it submerged for days. Towel-dry after wet play, refresh the wood now and then with a rub of beeswax or vegetable oil, use only mild dish soap if needed, and never the dishwasher.
