For the magic shift of the mud kitchen: two crescent moons flank a full moon pierced with straining holes, and suddenly the water table is brewing moon water, charging crystals, and straining midnight tea.

By daylight it does honest work too, holding fizz and potions above the water so the reaction can be watched a little longer, and catching the botanicals as everything pours through.

Why it lasts.

We carry Wild Mountain Child because these are real tools, not toy-shaped props: hand-carved, hand-sanded, and hand-polished from Doussie plantation timber by Vietnamese artisans in a traditional craft village, finished in food-grade oil, and designed in Australia by a mother who watched her own child's sensory play and built the tools it was missing. No two are the same, and that is the point.

Who it's for

For the parent
For the child in their magic era: moon water, potions, and crystal-charging, with a real strainer doing the work.
For the educator
Moon-phase talk meets sensory play: crescents and a full moon in hand while the fizz gets strained.
For the gift-giver
The one for the little mystic: a carved moon that actually strains their potions.

Ways to play.

Brew moon water, charge crystals, strain midnight potions, and hold a Midnight Magic Moon Stone above the water while its gold eco-glitter blooms. The full-moon holes strain real tea for the after-dark tea party too.

What families found.

Details

Materials & construction

Hand-carved, hand-sanded, and hand-polished from Doussie, a Vietnamese plantation timber, then finished with food-grade oil. Free of harmful chemicals, paints, and toxins, with a smooth, splinter-free finish. Grain and carving vary piece to piece; that variation is the handwork showing, not a defect.

Care & storage

Play in water is fine; just don't leave it submerged for days. Towel-dry after wet play, refresh the wood now and then with a rub of beeswax or vegetable oil, use only mild dish soap if needed, and never the dishwasher.
