Materials & construction

Each finger puppet is ethically hand felted from 100% New Zealand wool and colored with azo-free dye that is safe for children and pets. The puppets are made by women artisans in Nepal.

Ways to play

Use the five characters to act out the deep, dark wood adventure scene by scene. Children can practice storytelling, role play, and interactive learning by giving each puppet a voice. The set also invites free retelling and invented adventures beyond the original tale.
