Why it lasts.

Leaving a treat for Santa is one of the first traditions children get to run themselves. This set lets them practice it all season long.

Who it's for

For the parent
A small Christmas ritual children can play out again and again, in soft wool with no plastic and no batteries.
For the educator
A seasonal addition to the dramatic play kitchen that invites counting, sharing, and talk about family traditions.
For the gift-giver
An easy stocking stuffer or Christmas Eve gift that pairs with any felt food collection.

Ways to play.

Set out a plate for Santa by the play fireplace. Pour the milk, count the donuts, and decide who gets which one. Add it to a holiday tea party or a pretend bakery counter.

Details

Materials & construction

Each piece is crafted from 100% New Zealand wool felt. The wool is colored with azo-free dyes, verified under OEKO-TEX Standard 100. Every component, including structural threads and dyes, is cleared of over 100 harmful substances. The finished pieces contain no plastic, no batteries, and no synthetic fill.

These pieces are made in Kathmandu, Nepal, by a cooperative of over 350 women artisans, the majority of whom are mothers. Each is shaped through traditional needle-felting and wet-felting, without molds or machines. Tara Treasures is a Fair Trade Certified brand, which audits fair wages and safe working conditions. Your purchase directly supports the economic independence of the women who made it.

Care & storage
Spot clean with a barely damp cloth and let air dry. Store the pieces together somewhere dry, and reshape by hand as needed.
