Materials & construction

The mat is hand-felted from 100% New Zealand wool and colored with azo-free dyes. It measures 80 cm x 50 cm and rolls up with a bone button closure for storage. The landscape includes distinct play zones: grazing land, a pond with stepping stones, a muddy pig patch, vegetable rows, and a tractor track. Animals, figurines, and tractors are not included. Made by the Tara Treasures cooperative in Nepal.

Ways to play

Place farm animals across the grazing land, the mud patch, and the pond. Drive wooden tractors and vehicles along the tractor track. Tend the vegetable rows with farmer figures and build out a full growing-season story. Pair the mat with a wooden barn for a complete farm scene. Use it on a tabletop or spread it out on the floor, then roll it up and fasten the bone button to tuck it away.

Care & storage

Spot-clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not submerge or machine wash. Air dry flat. Roll loosely and fasten with the bone button to store upright or flat. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight to preserve the wool's color.
