I just love it, I have two small barns, it fits just right between them. I have a group of animals, and tractors that fit nicely… I am quite pleased.

I am impressed with the large farm felt play mat. It is really well constructed. I like how it rolls up and fastens!

There are many opportunities for quality play with this mat. The vegetable patch is just charming- I can see Peter Rabbit being chased by Mr McGregor in there! The mud puddle for piggies to cool off in, a lovely pond complete with river stones for ducks and fish and peg people to splash around in. And the cave!

I bought this for my granddaughter. She has a collection of wooden farm animals and a barn, this is the latest addition to her farm themed toys. It is a birthday gift.

Amazing quality and details

This play mat is large and has many details that make it so special. The quality is amazing- very thick and sturdy. It will last for many years and will probably be passed down when my children have outgrown it. We bought it to use with holtztiger wooden farm animals and a wooden toy barn. It really adds a lot of fun to farm play and is definitely worth the price.

Materials & construction

Each piece is crafted from 100% New Zealand wool felt. The wool is colored with azo-free, non-toxic dyes and verified under OEKO-TEX Standard 100. Every component, including structural threads and dyes, is cleared of over 100 harmful substances. The finished pieces contain no plastic, no batteries, and no synthetic fill.

These pieces are made in Kathmandu, Nepal, by a cooperative of over 350 women artisans, the majority of whom are mothers. Each is shaped through traditional needle-felting and wet-felting, without molds or machines. Tara Treasures is a Fair Trade Certified brand, which audits fair wages and safe working conditions. Your purchase directly supports the economic independence of the women who made it.

Care & storage

Spot-clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not submerge or machine wash. Air dry flat. Roll loosely and fasten with the bone button to store upright or flat. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight to preserve the wool's color.
