Materials & construction

This piece is made of 100% sheep's wool sourced from Australia and New Zealand. It is handmade, hand-felted, and hand sewn in the Himalayas by female Nepalese artisans working under fair trade conditions. The fairy house is attached to the base and the roof does not come off. The base of the mat is 12.59 inches in diameter and the home stands 17.71 inches tall with the roof. Colors may range from dark pink to purple based on availability.

Ways to play

Children can open and close the large door and create a home for their favorite fairies, gnomes, and dolls. The house supports storytelling, imaginative play, and fine motor practice on its attached base and mat.
