This is the home of Bee Beamsprite, a fairy who keeps a family of bees that gather their honey by moonlight. The door opens and shuts, and windows are cut all around the walls, so the bees fly out and a child calls them home again. A family of felt bees comes along to live here. It is a whole small story you can hold in two hands.

Materials & construction

Made from 100% sheep's wool sourced from Australia and New Zealand, hand-felted and hand sewn in Nepal by artisans working under fair trade conditions. The dyes and wool are child-safe and non-toxic. Because each piece is shaped entirely by hand, slight variations give every one its own character.

Care & storage

Spot clean with a lightly damp cloth and a drop of mild soap. Do not submerge in water, machine wash, or wring: the hand-felted fibers will shrink and lose their shape permanently if saturated. Air dry flat, away from direct heat and sunlight. Store in a dry place. Natural dyes may mellow gently over years of use; this is a characteristic of the material, not a defect.
