Why it lasts.

Felt wears in, not out. Every piece of this set is hand-felted from dense wool, soft to hold but tough enough to be built, rebuilt, rolled up, and set out again for years. It is the kind of piece a child keeps, then passes to a sibling.

Who it's for

For the parent
It suits a family that loves small-world play and a dragon world a child can build, rearrange, and return to again and again.
For the educator
It anchors a small-world or storytelling shelf, a cave, a character, and loose rocks that invite building, sorting, and narrative play.
For the gift-giver
It makes a memorable, handmade gift for a child who loves dragons and worlds they can build with their own hands.

Ways to play.

Arrange the rocks into paths, walls, and stepping stones, then send the air dragon out across the river and back to the cave. Bring in the Earth and Fire dragons and let the elements meet.

Details

Materials & construction

Made from 100% sheep's wool sourced from Australia and New Zealand, hand-felted and hand sewn in Nepal by artisans working under fair trade conditions. The dyes are azo-free. Because each piece is shaped entirely by hand, slight variations give every one its own character.

Care & storage

Spot clean with a lightly damp cloth and a drop of mild soap. Do not submerge in water, machine wash, or wring: the hand-felted fibers will shrink and lose their shape permanently if saturated. Air dry flat, away from direct heat and sunlight. Store in a dry place. Natural dyes may mellow gently over years of use; this is a characteristic of the material, not a defect.
