Shipping policy

Retail orders

$10.95 standard shipping within the contiguous U.S. Free on orders $150 and up. Local delivery in LA and Orange County for $12, $100 minimum.

Educator and school orders

Freight runs about 15 percent of the merchandise subtotal, with a $12 minimum on the smallest orders. We prepay the carrier and add it to your invoice, consolidating across workshops where lead times allow, which lowers it. Shipping is FOB destination, so title and risk pass on delivery. Alaska, Hawaii, and the U.S. territories are quoted before a purchase order is issued. On lead times beyond twelve weeks, freight is confirmed before shipping, so a carrier increase months after the quote is never added without your agreement.

Most of the catalog arrives in three to six weeks. Items made to order in small batches take six to eight weeks, longer at class-size quantity. Larger orders ship in tranches as each maker completes their part, and every line is dated on your quote.
