This Insects family allows children to create stories and Mini Worlds. There are no instructions or rules. The elements do not have a completely defined shape, and this allows the pieces to be converted into what children need to generate by their own game and adventure proposal.

Grapat toys are designed to stir the imagination, to allow the child to be creative in her own way. There is no right way to play with the toys: just go where the fancy takes you!

  • The wood used for Grapat toys (primarily beech and birch) comes from sustainable forests
  • The dyes are based on water and non-toxic: they allow the grain of the wood to show through, bringing children into closer contact with nature. The finishes are made with waxes and oils of vegetable origin. The oils can have a strong aroma at first, but it loses it within a few days. Each piece is unique, each one is painted by hand, and natural imperfections are recognized as being part of the natural wood: it is beautiful and makes the material even more valuable.

    We are offering local delivery services until Christmas Eve for a special rate of $20. Shipping address must be in the Greater Los Angeles area, in the general vicinity of our shop (~35 miles from Arcadia, CA). All local delivery orders are subject to these restrictions.

    Orders ship from our warehouse in Los Angeles in 1-4 business days, unless otherwise stated. For pre-orders, please see product listing for expected shipping dates.

    Free Shipping on orders of $150 or more within the contiguous 48 USA. Shipping rates to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, Guam, and APO/FPO/DPO are calculated at checkout.

    We currently offer limited shipping to Canada, China, France, Japan, and Mexico via U.S. Postal Service, UPS, DHL, or Fedex.

    If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason, you may return it within 30 days for a refund (less promotional discounts and shipping charges).

    At this time, we only offer free returns in cases of damage or defect from transit or manufacturing. All purchases will be subject to a return fee based on return shipping charges.

    These are beautiful and quality pieces, and I can't wait to gift them to my kids. They were our first purchase from the Grapat brand so I can see how much they will be loved before ordering the mandala pieces. I love that these will standalone, and the colors are gorgeous. Plus, the wood smell is lovely. The packaging both from Grapat and My Toy Wagon was wonderful.
