A hand-felted spring-into-summer cottage — the Butterfly Fairy House carries embroidered butterflies across its felt walls and a curling petal roof in soft pastels. The doorway opens onto a hollow interior sized for a small fairy or gnome.
Hand-stitched in Nepal by a women's felting cooperative. Wool sourced from Australia and New Zealand and felted by hand without molds, so no two houses are identical — the embroidered butterflies vary in placement and color from house to house.
Educator notes: A favorite for late-spring nature tables, life-cycle science work (pair with a felt caterpillar-to-butterfly set), and small-world dramatic play. Featured on /pages/educator-fairy-villages.
