We designed our beach collecting kit to preserve the delicate finds + memories from our beach and tide-pool adventures. Collect and preserve your beach specimens with the pocket-sized tin, then use the contents to prepare, encapsulate, label, and display your finds. Each kit is meticulously assembled by hand in our studio.
June & December was founded in 2014 with an adventurous spirit and the idea that the most memorable gifts have a meaningful story to tell. An astute student of nature and collector of clipped sprigs and forest finds, you can find Katie’s inspiration deep within her hand-drawn illustrations, graphic designs and original patterns. Her artwork celebrates and explores the natural wonder found all around us, like the fern: often walked on and overlooked, the fern adds green to the darkest forest shadows where the sunlight remains elusive.

Know before you go and follow all local, state, and federal laws. Minimize what you collect as not to disturb a microhabitat. Never collect live insects.
We are offering local delivery services until Christmas Eve for a special rate of $20. Shipping address must be in the Greater Los Angeles area, in the general vicinity of our shop (~35 miles from Arcadia, CA). All local delivery orders are subject to these restrictions.
Orders ship from our warehouse in Los Angeles in 1-4 business days, unless otherwise stated. For pre-orders, please see product listing for expected shipping dates.
Free Shipping on orders of $150 or more within the contiguous 48 USA. Shipping rates to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, Guam, and APO/FPO/DPO are calculated at checkout.
We currently offer limited shipping to Canada, China, France, Japan, and Mexico via U.S. Postal Service, UPS, DHL, or Fedex.

If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason, you may return it within 30 days for a refund (less promotional discounts and shipping charges).
At this time, we only offer free returns in cases of damage or defect from transit or manufacturing. All purchases will be subject to a return fee based on return shipping charges.
